When you first navigate to the ACT site, and if you have not yet set up Internet Explorer to allow pop-ups for the site, you will see the following warning. Click "OK" to dismiss the warning.
Right click in the warning area at the top of the browser window. From the menu that appears, select "Always Allow Pop-ups from This Site".
To allow Internet Explorer to trust the ACT site, click on the "Tools" menu and select "Internet Options".
In the window that appears, select the "Security" tab and click on the "Trusted Sites" green check mark icon. Then click the "Sites" button.
The next window that appears should have "http://act.choiceadvisory.com" filled in. Make sure that "Require server verification" is unchecked, then click "Add".
Now that "http://act.choiceadvisory.com" is added to Internet Explorer's list of trusted sites, click "Close".
Be sure to click "OK" in the "Internet Options - Security" window.
You can now log into ACT. After logging in, scroll down to the bottom right corner of the browser view in Internet Explorer and locate the layout tab. If it is not already selected, choose "Web Layout 2005".
Finally, create a shortcut to the ACT website. To do this, drag the icon that appears next to the ACT web address in Internet Explorer to your desktop. This will create a shortcut icon that you can now click from your desktop to launch the ACT website.
